Driving high-quality leads for Judopay
Judopay is a technologically savvy company leading the way with mobile-first payments, driving sales and improving the customer experience at checkout. They were looking to grow their volume of incoming leads cost effectively.
Judopay had recently set up their Google Ads account and launched a new website, so wanted support on using correct keywords, generating website conversions and improving site authority from an SEO perspective.
We devised a strategy to resolve some of the key issues on-site within the paid media set-up and decided to test new campaigns and platforms (Microsoft Ads) to drive leads and sales.
This involved understanding how Judopay’s target users searched, reviewing site UX, and assisting with their new website build. We also:
- Ensured accurate on-site tracking and sale attribution to keyword level
- Launched and tested paid search ads on Google and Bing (Microsoft Ads)
- Supported the paid search campaigns with remarketing (search and display)
- Reviewed paid social competitors
- Launched a LinkedIn ads campaign
We conducted keyword research surrounding competitor terms as well as broader terms to gather audience search insight. We built up audience lists and created both search campaigns and display remarketing campaigns to assist in cross-channel conversions. We optimised these campaigns over time by utilising the data and testing ad copy and display variations.
Between Q4 2019 and Q1 2020, we saw a 20% increase in the number of conversions, as well as a conversion rate increase from 0.94% in Oct 2019 to 1.84% in Jan 2020.
Whilst the Cost Per Click (CPC) can be relatively expensive for the keywords we’re targeting, we tested and implemented smart bidding strategies and decreased the cost per conversion by 37.5% (Q1 2020 vs Q4 2019).
Driving more conversions for Judopay has enabled further business growth and a better return on ad spend.

We also ran a LinkedIn Lead Generation campaign using Judopay’s whitepaper, “How To Remove The Barriers To Mobile Payments”. With useful, informative content supplied by Judopay, paired with specific and segmented targeting by job title and ad variations created by our in-house design team, we:
- Reached the right audience, achieving high-quality leads at a decent CPA
- Refined campaign targeting, as “General / Operational” job titles had the highest CPA
- Ran A/B tests on ad copy
With a combined paid search, display and paid social strategy, we continue to drive high-quality leads at a higher volume than before.
