The Reddico team are pleased to announce the arrival of four more faces – as Amber Heryet, Toby Neilson, Holly Yelland and Luke Gosha officially join the ranks. The quartet comes to us excited to start a new journey in the wonderful world of SEO.

Luke, SEO Consultant

Luke joins us as an SEO Consultant, having worked closely with some of the team in the past. Having spent nearly 5 years working as both the SEO Team Leader and Acquisition Marketing Manager at Tifgroup, he’s now ready to try agency life.

On his first week at the company, he said: “I have been blown away by the approach that is taken here when it comes to culture. You can really feel that Reddico is a people-first company and the values that are held can be seen and expressed across the business. “My first week has been great, from getting to know team members, being introduced to client websites, and busting a sweat on a team workout session. It has been a breath of fresh air to work in this environment and I am looking forward to the road ahead.

“I am excited about my new challenge here. I have been working in-house for the past 5 years so I am really looking forward to working with clients from different industries, giving back to the team, and enhancing my knowledge further.”

Luke was already a well-liked associate of the team, so there’s little doubt he’ll be a fantastic addition to the office.

Holly, Designer and Developer

Holly is the team’s first ever hybrid developer and designer. Having been at the company about a month, she’s already having a huge impact on our link building campaigns.

With a background in UX design and web development, she’s really enjoyed her start to life here: “I’m loving every minute at Reddico. Starting a new job can be daunting but the team made me feel so welcome and I settled in very quickly. I’ve been blown away by the support on offer both on an official company level and the internal network the team has created. “Everyone genuinely looks out for each other and nothing is too much trouble if you need something. It’s refreshing to know that my own needs are thought of and cared about both professionally and personally.

"The Social team puts on regular events which are a lot of fun – even when we are in lockdown. We’ve had personal training sessions, a Mastermind quiz, Taskmaster, and I’ve even played games of counterstrike with my team."

I immediately joined the eco committee, where we find ways to reduce our negative impact on the environment as we all strive to become more eco-friendly and sustainable. It’s also really nice to see how active Reddico are with charity work and making a difference to good causes. “

I’m finding lots of opportunities to grow in this role and that’s fully supported by the great people around me. You’re trusted to do your job in the best way that works for you. Projects and workloads are very organised, yet flexible at the same time according to your needs and capacity. ‘I’m really looking forward to continuing my design and development work for our clients and expanding my skills. I’m surrounded by experts in their field so it’s been great to bounce ideas and learn from them, as well as contribute my own to push us forward as a team.

“Coming to Reddico was the best decision I’ve made!”

Toby, Senior SEO Consultant

Toby has been with the company for a couple of months now, and was fortunate enough to get an in-person onboarding session before the second national lockdown hit.

Having worked as both a Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Senior SEO Consultant in previous roles, Toby arrives at Reddico thirsty for a new challenge:

"I’ve been at Reddico for 3 months now, and it has flown by! Starting at a new company in the midst of a global pandemic is a daunting prospect, but it’s been an incredibly smooth transition and I feel like part of the furniture already. “I’m a remote worker based in Scotland, but feel totally integrated with the team, and regular check-ins have been a game changer in terms of getting some much needed social interaction with the rest of the SEO Team and wider company."

“I’ve been really enjoying the flexibility afforded by Reddico’s culture and values. I'm looking forward to my future here working on complex tasks with an interesting array of clients amidst a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team.”

Amber, Project Manager

Amber in the meantime joins as a Project Manager, after previous spells with STP Solutions and Legal & General. She’s edging towards half a year with the team, and has been a very welcome addition to the company. Joining at a time when social gatherings were (somewhat) acceptable, she was even able to join us for a couple of in-person events. On her time with Reddico so far she said:

"Before joining, I knew I wanted to bring my project management experience, which I have always enjoyed, to an industry that I’m excited to be part of and is current and moving with the times. Then I found Reddico, who ticked every one of these boxes and more."

"The team here is incredible. I know it gets said a lot but it really does feel like a big family. No managers, flexible hours, and the ability to truly fit your work around your life is something that has taken a while to get used to, but they pull it off perfectly. Opinions are heard and suggestions on improving processes, my department or the company are always welcomed.

"Being able to take ownership of my own development and drive my career progression really encourages you to bring the best out of yourself. I have already learnt so much! I’m really excited to see what the future holds for us."

t’s been an odd time for everyone since the first (second and third) national lockdown. Here’s hoping we get back to some normality soon, so we can introduce all of these fantastic new faces to Reddico the right way - down the pub.
